I love this shelf and wish I had more of them! This is the second version of this design made from locally sourced cherry. A few years ago, my girlfriend asked me to make a basic shelf for our bathroom so she could store her makeup out of reach from our then toddler. I threw some scrap wood on the scrollsaw and spent the next 16 hours making the webbing for brackets.
Fast forward a couple years, and I’m using a CNC to cut out the webs, but it still takes just as much time sanding and sealing them as it did when cutting them manually. My plan is to batch these out and hopefully get them to an affordable price point so more people can enjoy this unique shelf.
